A major Milestone

Katie took me grocery shopping this morning. she went in and came back with a handicap cart. it wasn't a Mercedes but it served it's purpose. ran into a few people I know and sure felt nice to get out. when finished I had her take it back into the store and plug it in. too many just leave them in the parking lot when done. no chance of being cleared to drive for months now

That's sad! I was allowed to drive after 6 weeks of recovery - I had my hip pinned

@ArtieKat surgeon sais it was a isplaced femoral neck break. he put in a plate with screws. usually only let my husband screw me but he was gentle and got the job done

@saragoodtimes I was under a heavy local anaesthetic - the surgeon warned me it would sound like heavy power tools! Precisely lol
