What's the best bargain you've had from the supermarket?

Today I got 40 day aged Angus rib roast reduced from £42 to £10. It's my favourite meat, so will have an amazing roast with all the trimmings.

Good deal! I like the 2 for 1 deals one of our super markets puts on once in a while, usually on boxes of chicken strips.

@LunarOrbit for me welldone. My partner likes medium, so I have the outside slices. Then we'll slice him up a generous serving and cover the roast in foil while it cools, so it ends up cooked well.

@meggie I like mine rare…but after the meal, I’ll cook it till its no longer pink. Then i can have it leftover on sandwiches or au jus
