My grocery cart stalled!

I'll admit this isn't the greatest discovery in my lifetime but today I learned that WalMart grocery carts have a locking mechanism on the front wheels that's electronically triggered by entering an off-limits area. I just fetched another cart and continued with my shop, unconcerned. Not very exciting. 😀

[i]Seriously?[/i] That seems too elaborate for Walmart. I would think they would simply cordon off an area or lock a door.
