The "Free" or "Buy Nothing" FB groups suck.
So today I decided to check out my Facebook postings. And I'm subscribed to a couple of buy nothing groups. I've given away quite a bit and I don't seek stuff because I don't want to clutter my area.
But today I've seen another ask that was like "are you freaking kidding me?" What were they asking for? a free phone a free iPhone I mean good grief even a used one is like $300 to $500 "oh but make it a gift"
I remember when the Nintendo first came out $300 for that damn thing and I saw those requests on giving trees. I was like telling my sister "I'll be damned if I give that to a stranger and I won't even give that to your kids"
And that's not the half of it I mean I have seen a dozen requests for free cars, a free rv, a free trailer, phones bedroom furniture a certain type in fact or shall we say things that obviously cost quite a bit even so.
I understand if you've got it to give away cool but it's like "dude are you that greedy?" or what because obviously we can't tell if they're just going to take it and sell it.
Which I suspect a lot of these people are doing that it's really sad that when someone wants something you have to question do they have an ulterior motive?
