I Sell On Ebay

The big problem selling on Ebay is that it takes too much time.

Listing is fairly painless now with phone cams, payment via Paypal is brainless, but it's when it sells the fun begins.

Finding the right sized box, packing, shipping, and then worrying something could be damaged in transit, or dealing with delays in shipping. I have one shipment that appears to be no further than 100 miles on a 300 mile journey after over a week.

I buy a lot from eBay. Shipping times I don’t fret over. Nothing is that serious
@MrBrownstone Good to know, I wouldn't either, but I have had people freak over delays even though they requested the cheapest option possible.

@BrewCityBarfly I would tell them you should have paid for faster shipping. Some people just complain to complain.

@Stereoguy It's not bad if a once in a while deal. Communication is key to keeping customers from getting upset.

@Stereoguy We're doing the same, luckily the wife has time to help with shipping. I'd also caution against selling things in "lots", it ups shipping costs and seems to draw down prices, good for buyers but it sucks when you just spent an hour packing/shipping to make a whopping $2.
