They Have These Insulated Covered Cups At Aldi Stores For Only $4.99 Each This Week…
I brought the boy with me, I bought one for me, for Ray and for the boy…
Took mine to chemo with me Friday so I could make chamomile tea in it while I was having chemo. I put 2 tea bags of chamomile in it and poured hot water from the insulated water bottle I bought at the discount store for only $2 (I’m such a cheapskate)….the water was still piping hot and it stayed hot in that cup too. I also brought a metal straw that the boy bought a 5-pack at the same discount store last year and used the straw to sip the tea. The cup seems leakproof. I put water in it and turned it upside down and it didn’t leak at all. Which is a good thing when you are in chemo, don’t want to knock it over and have a spill on the floor.

@Crazywaterspring Last week I bought a rolled up fleece blanket that had a strap on it for carrying, I will take that to chemo because it is so soft and comfortable I might actually be able to take a nap. Ray was diagnosed 2 weeks before me and we started chemo on the same week 2 days apart. When I take him to his chemo sessions I’ll take my blanket with me to be able to rest sitting next to him and stay warm. Those chemo centers are cold. And the week before I found a divided food dish made from silicone that I can take a meal with us to share.
