Resisting the urge to order crap on amazon...

I gotta remind myself that the void is still there after all the other crap I brought, so the new albums, toys, books, and totally-authentic-ninja-stars-just-like-what-they-use-in-actual-Japanese-schools aren't gonna help fill it.

But then I stumble across a drum kit...I'm overdue a mid-life crisis and I'm stoned too often for a sports car, so I might be in a dad-band before long, doing awful covers of Foreigner songs filled with old-man-grunting intermissions

@RebelRaven I've looked at some electric sets, just wasn't sure if they were good enough or close to real enough to learn on. Or if you learn on them, you can only then play electric, if that makes sense

@UpsideOutInsideDown totally makes sense! They do look odd. I asked a friend of mine about them who has been playing drums since he was a kid and he loves electric, he said they sound just like an acoustic set. He bought a big set though around $8000, but they have cheap beginner sets for like $500.
