A drone just delivered a package & it was actually kinda scary 😂

I heard a loud buzzing like a mini helicopter then my stepmom started yelling my name because she was freaking out. I came running & I saw a big ass drone outside the front window super close. That's why she was screaming 😅 I opened the door to go outside & get a better look but I low-key was thinking "what if I walk out & this thing shoots me?"

I went out anyway & saw an Amazon package laying in the gutter in front of the house. I watched the big ass drone slowly lift up then take off into the distance. Since it dropped the package in the gutter, I'm not sure why the drone came so close to the window 😂

That shit was weird. I've read about Amazon using drones to deliver packages but that was the first I've seen it

How big was the drone? I have no clue what sizes they are. I just imagine this Apache helicopter flying around with a random box.

Sometimes I wish FedEx used them, then I wouldn't keep getting packages that are suppose to go to someone with a very similar address. When that happens, I just take them to that guy's house and leave them at his door.

I just imagine you open the door, 44 magnum in hand, shooting at it relentlessly and saying "WHAZZUP MOTHER F*CKER?!"
Then it sputters and spins to the ground, battered, letting out a final puff of smoke like in cartoons. Then you have this look like, "Oh SH*T! It was just bringing my stuff." 😬

Since it dropped the package in the gutter, I'm not sure why the drone came so close to the window 😂

It was an SW peeping Tom drone, hoping to catch some pics for our picture section. Now isn't that a comforting thought? :D

@HoeBag it was surprisingly big like maybe around a yard or a meter tall. It had propellers on all 4 sides. That's why it was so freaky too because I've never seen a drone that big especially not right outside the window 😂
I do that when a neighbors package ends up at my door too though lol. I even knock & walk away like I'm the delivery guy.

If I still had guns though I definitely would've opened the door armed. Probably not drawn 🤣 but armed for sure. If it shot at me I would've been prepared lol.
Those peeping toms need to use smaller drones though. That shit was not discreet at all 😂

Biggest one I have seen was maybe one foot, those toy ones at the store.

Next time you see something like a hornet, you will just think, "Aww, how cute!"

@SwampFlower nah I live in the city. If you order anything lightweight on Amazon, check if you have a "drone delivery" option 👌 apparently my dad ordered sunglasses & chose drone delivery but he forgot to warn anyone 😂
