Some Of These Amazon Return Boxes Have A Lot Of Used Items Returned…

Am thinking people are being “creative” by not having to rent equipment of buy something that they need for one or a few uses this way. Looks like some have been heavily used at that. And I wonder what city that these Amazon return boxes are coming from to have half of the items returned in that kind of shape.

I don't think it's so much coming from certain cities but, more that this reflects the problems of the economy. People can't afford things now. It's buy it, use it, then return it when your done with it so you can use it for free. Also some of it is the horrible everything Chinese quality too. They bought it. It lasted a week or two. Can't find the receipt, and threw away the box, so. ... Buy another one and return the broken one with the new box and receipt to get your money back from the broken one.

@IndianaJoes Some people are such cheapskates it doesn’t matter what the economy is like, if they can outsmart the system and get something for free they will do it. I have known people in real life like this. It’s the same mentality as shoplifting in California and running out the door with multiples of things and selling them on the black market etc. Just thievery.
@cherokeepatti yes we all know people like this. I think more than 50% of the people we know are like this actually

@IndianaJoes I don’t believe it’s that high here but not sure about that. I sure won’t buy black-market goods. Had a guy try to talk me into buying a used microwave when I was working at the car lot and mentioned needing to go buy one since mine went out. He kept pushing and pushing. I told him I had the money for a new one and didn’t want to mess with a used one and he was trying to sell me a used one for $35. Saw him & his buddies on local news a few weeks later. They had gotten busted for fencing stolen goods.
@cherokeepatti that's why we're glad to be blessed as we are. Somehow we just sense danger like that and don't even know it until later. And besides you don't know what somebody's cooked in a used microwave. I'm a little picky about what I stick in my mouth.

@IndianaJoes another red flag besides him being pushy about it was that he wanted $35 for a used microwave. WTH, I could have bought them for no more than $15 at a yard sale but still didn’t want to buy a used one. It could have a door leak and not be that safe.
@cherokeepatti I like to buy used things but a used microwave? That's kind of like buying used underwear. Lol
