Do you tend to spend much more than you plan food shopping?

@OlderSometimesWiser I wasn’t hungry this time! 😅 What happened is ShopRite has sales where you have to buy a certain amount to get the sale price and that’s how they get me every time in that store at least 😑 today is actually the first time and I can’t remember that I didn’t bring a list, that’s cause I didn’t plan on getting much 😬

Saw you mention your hesitation in getting groceries delivered because you’re a “produce perfectionist.” Well I’m pretty much the same way but I gotta tell ya, I get groceries delivered from Walmart and they’ve got some very good produce pickers. I’ve rarely had a problem and if there’s anything that’s subpar, I just get online to chat with customer service and my money is promptly refunded.

Grocery delivery also saves you a heck of a lot of money because there’s no impulse buying. I just happen to like Walmart because of the huge grocery selection and no need to worry about sales, specials and coupons. Their prices are in general just lower.

@OlderSometimesWiser Oh that’s great! That makes sense! I might try it some day. When my kids are bringing in packages, I remind whoever has the bag with the apples to be extremely careful like it’s glass 😂 Thank you for sharing that.

@MellyMel22 Just to add, if you join Walmart+ it’s about $100 per year for unlimited free grocery delivery plus a bunch of other perks. So running back and forth to the store shouldn’t be necessary. 🙂
