I would never buy anything from Temu. Anything that forces you to use an app to shop. Is only after one thing. The data on your device. Also they been known for selling peoples data to third party friends of theirs
If you can't shop with VPN, use an address that that is not linked with your real name, and pay with a unnamed prepaid gift card and use a fake name

Yeah but ALL companies do that cr4p. There isn't really any way around it. VPN is basically a false sense of security.

@HumanEarth What I do not understand though is why people seem just fine that most companies have every piece of recorded info about most of us, but if it is some chinese company, then suddenly it is cause for concern.
No one really knows what that info is used for. Companies claim "advertising" but they can use that BS excuse only so long.
