The mayonnaise loop
As is fairly normal for me, I am experiencing a ridiculous but annoying abnormality.
They won’t bring me mayonnaise. You may think mayo is gross and that’s fine. I like it.
Three separate times I ordered it from Walmart and all went as usual until the part when I was charged for the mayo and they didn’t bring it. They cheerfully refunded, but a refund wasn’t the reason I ordered mayo.
I finally gave up and ordered from Amazon. It shipped quickly, and was scheduled for delivery this past Tuesday. It traveled from Texas to Albuquerque and Monday it was due to arrive here in Santa Fe. It did arrive in Santa Fe.
Then for reasons known only to USPS, they took it out of Santa Fe and sent it to Santa Rosa, about 2 hours away. You can send stuff TO Santa Rosa from here, but to get back here, it has to go back to Albuquerque.
So now it’s (ha ha) due to arrive today.
I am skeptical.
Update: The mayo DID arrive today. Call off the hounds.
