The mayonnaise loop

As is fairly normal for me, I am experiencing a ridiculous but annoying abnormality.

They won’t bring me mayonnaise. You may think mayo is gross and that’s fine. I like it.

Three separate times I ordered it from Walmart and all went as usual until the part when I was charged for the mayo and they didn’t bring it. They cheerfully refunded, but a refund wasn’t the reason I ordered mayo.

I finally gave up and ordered from Amazon. It shipped quickly, and was scheduled for delivery this past Tuesday. It traveled from Texas to Albuquerque and Monday it was due to arrive here in Santa Fe. It did arrive in Santa Fe.

Then for reasons known only to USPS, they took it out of Santa Fe and sent it to Santa Rosa, about 2 hours away. You can send stuff TO Santa Rosa from here, but to get back here, it has to go back to Albuquerque.

So now it’s (ha ha) due to arrive today.

I am skeptical.

Update: The mayo DID arrive today. Call off the hounds.

That is odd. Go back and review each of those 3 Walmart orders, and when it has the space where you can type something in, mention the mayonnaise. I had the same driver on three separate occasions bring my orders to the wrong house. My house is clearly marked and not hard to find. No other drivers had an issue. Twice she just took a picture of the item in her car, and one she took a picture of it on some dilapidated porch. After my third review the manager called me and said it will never happen again. I haven’t had a problem since. Maybe somebody will double check your orders.
@itsok the vast majority of the time it goes like clockwork. I should be grateful, and if the mayo arrives, I probably will get that back, the gratitude part.
