The thing about holiday blitz "sales" that is incredibly irritating

If stuff can be marked down 30%-50% for a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale, it must mean we're getting ripped off the rest of the year.

I dont know bow true this is, but i was told by someone who sold merch to large train stores that stock is usually marked up about 300% from the stock purchase price.
This allows for loss, theft, wages.... and reduced sales pricing - but still allows for profit🤷‍♀
