What's a splurge purchase u've made for urself?

Four dress, pant & jacket/coat patterns.
Intend to cut them in gingham, alter to fit comfortably,
and make durable cardboard patterns from the checked-cotton versions.
That way I can remake clothing styles that suit me from natural fabrics without worrying about favourite items no longer being available.
