OMG I FOUND IT!!! Temporarily out of stock!!!! Darnit!!!

Ok, so long story short there's this bathrobe I had for like 6 or 7 years (maybe more) that my sister got me from Macy's yeaaaaaaaaars ago.

My question is, I'm a medium, 5' 10". For bathrobes, would you go with medium OR would you size up to large? The medium fit me perfectly, but I hear people keep saying you want to size up regardless.

What's your opinion on it?

Thanks.
Buy two medium and one large. The two medium to last you the next two decades, and the large for when you get fat.

I don’t use one. I dry off I get dressed. I stay dressed. Even to go to bed.

@Jonjdw My whole thing is, I usually only wear briefs to bed. So without the robe, now I gotta throw on PJ bottoms, just to go out to go bathroom, so then I leave them on instead of taking those back off.

With the robe it's so much easier to just grab the robe and wrap up to come out of my room, and then take the robe back off in my room and go back to bed.

You can check usually the sizing chart is my best bet.
And figure out from there.
General guide would be maybe to size up for a more cozy and loose feel.

@Juvia Ohhh okay. I just miss that robe so much cause it was 100% cotton and it was just such a great quality robe. And now I'm like, okay if I get it again, wondering if I should go a size up since the medium did fit me really well. Thanks Juvia 😊

@twiigss If the medium fit well, then maybe stick to medium👀

@Juvia Yeah my brother said size up so that's what I'll do. The robe is unavailable right now so yeah

I'd go a size up always.

@assemblingaknob It's temporarily out of stock :( And there's some nice one's on Macy's but I'd have to get it delivered an hour away from me. So might try my luck again on the Nautica website since it's near Xmas time.

That's the thing I don't understand, bathrobes are a gift people give at Xmas time, but then rest of the year they all disappear. Like, if my bathrobe I've had for 6 years falls apart in March, I can't find any until November. Also plan to go looking in at Kohl's as well.

@twiigss why can't they deliver it to you, why an hour away?
twiigss · M
@Starcrossed Well when I looked at their delivery options they only had 2. Deliver to that zip code, or have it delivered to the store in the mall. There wasn't a "deliver to home address" option :(

Oh the reason for an hour away though, the Macy's closest to me is in a mall, that is an hour away, and they have a deliver to store option, and deliver to this zip code option but it was for the zip code where the store is located.

I would size up a bath robe to be all cozy.
twiigss · M
@Starcrossed Yeah, I text my brother and he said also to size up. It's temporarily out of stock, but I asked a question on Amazon about this one robe I saw, if it's cotton cause polyester doesn't hold my body heat and I need a 100% cotton robe. Terry cloth is 100% cotton which is what my last robe was. Everything I saw at walmart is polyester, haven't had a chance to look in at Kohl's. Maybe I should go check it out? I was out earlier today but never hurts to go out again.
