If you bought a gold chain, from someone* that was priced at $300/£300 for £120. Thinking that you were getting a bargain and it turned out it was worth $7.50/£7.50 would you have a right to complain?

*You might wonder as they are a bit dodgy and you bought it at a pub/bar/

You just lost your money. Learn from this. Buy things from a trustworthy store.

@Secretsmile Hey, got it, it if sounds too good to be true right?

Was 'that someone' a Scouser?
Wol62 · 51-55, M
@Nimbus Nope, not at all. Nothing like that, was a co-worker.

@Wol62 I see, still dodgy!
Wol62 · 51-55, M
@Nimbus Yeah, guess they know that one now!

You could try complaining. If you can find that someone, and if you have a couple of burly sidekicks to go with you!

A deal that looks too good to be true probably is too good to be true.

And if it had really been worth what they claimed you might have found yourself on the recieving end of a receiving stolen goods charge.
