Have You Ordered Anything From Temu Website?

I heard for about a year now that some people have had their banking accounts hacked and money removed after using a Temu account to order things. But now I find out that they will accept Visa cards so wouldn’t have to worry about my bank account getting hacked that way. I started seeing a lot of identical things that I have been looking for on Amazon selling for about 50-75% less than what Amazon and other sites sell the same thing for. Now rethinking of ordering. The worst drawback is that it might take up to 3 weeks to get the package shipped. But they offer refunds and pay for postage if you send something back that is defective. I already have a list of things I want to order and may get a $100 Visa card to do just that.

I've heard that we don't get Temu here in Canada, but I am about to use Shein.ca.......They sell everything! I've bought a few outfits that I absolutely love, and am about to buy more this week for our upcoming vacation! It's a fast fashion website that sells everthing from clothing to household items. it's great and affordable a fraction of the price! So I use that...

@saintsong I've never had an issue with shein. If I didn't like something, free return, and get my money back. Very simple. You can actually get "free" things with them too if you have the app. You sign into the app daily and get points, which equate to real money. You can use them whenever you want. I like to try to let my points build up then get a freebie.
I rarely shop at physical stores now. Why browse when I can simply type in exactly what I'm looking for and purchase it on the spot?

@iamnikki yeah Walmart is going to feel this eventually. I can buy the same things on Amazon for a lot less than Walmart sells .They don’t even have that good of clearance sales any more. Temu offers some of the same things I’ve gotten at Dollar Tree but at a much lower price. Retailers are going to have a problem eventually if the trend to buy online continues. It seems that Walmart is not even trying.

@cherokeepatti do you have Amazon Prime? A movie that came out last month is on there, but it's $20 without prime. I can see it at the theater for $10 so it's not worth it w/o prime.
I don't get much from Walmart aside from groceries maybe once a month (Aldi mostly) and toiletries.
