Don’t shop on Temu!!

I just ordered some boots and tennis shoes on the app Temu last week. A few days later I went into my accounts settings and noticed that there was a different email in my profile than my own. So I put mine in and got an email asking me to verify the change of address. I was alarmed since my credit card information was on it and I contacted customer service and told them that I thought my account had been hacked. The girl acted completely clueless and after really giving me the runaround, I closed the chat out and removed my credit card info.
So a few minutes ago I was at a dollar store and got a text from my credit card company asking if I had tried to purchase $187 worth of flowers from some company that I looked up and it was a scam. So I said NO and now I have to wait a week to get a new card since they canceled my credit card.
I’m pissed because it’s a reward card and I accumulate a lot of cash rewards for it and now all I can use is my debit card.
So yeah- don’t use Temu!

I was getting inundated by temu ads. I went and had a look ....but there's that saying , if something looks too good to be true ....it usually is.
And I read something else about temu, I can't remember what it was exactly , but it was something about what they do with their excess or reject stock or something . They go via illegal or rather 'circumvent' legal channels, and dump their crap in some other poor country . Basically dumping their crap in someone else's backyard and avoiding costs to do so.🤷

But thanks for posting ....scamming is getting rife these days .

@Oster1 oooh, Scrabble 🤗 I watched a movie recently with Bill Nighy in it that had a sub story going on based on Scrabble .

I really like Scrabble ...and backgammon . You know those old sets with the nice big clunky pieces. I got one somewhere .

When I wrote 'Scrabble', we were talking about words, but I was thinking Backgammon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not weird. Telepathy is very real, and every one of us, has this ability. It's keener and more focused on others. I lived it, all of my life, but it never ceases to amaze me.

It's undeniable. You and I, seem to share the same wavelength and it's fascinating!!!

Power corrupts. I've seen it , I nearly lost myself to it once or twice ...I don't like it tbh.
Power changes peoole ....usually for the worst .

To be honest ....you're niceness freaks me out a little .
I understand now that it's part of your nature - Ive grown a little , and others stood up for you I'm my DM's - so I copped a bit of a telling off😂

...but to those of who have been damaged, it reminds us of love bombing.
Not meaning to be mean or discredit your kindness and optimism...it's just we have bad memories from lovely words .

It's a shame really, that others have made something good into something bad that ruins it for everybody else .
