oh and Basil, i don't know yet how he fits in, but i gotta have him!!
and a couple monk things Desert Fathers and a work called The Ladder of Divine Ascent - i can't leave these guys out, because they were all like screw you world, we're going away to be alone, and i LOVE that sentiment. My pops he sorta feels the same way, countless times he starts off saying how he'd like to be a monk, but then after a few minutes shakes it off because you can't evangelize when you're all cloistered and stuff.
