Have You Noticed Any Change In Business Hours Etc. Lately?

I saw a sign on an Aldi store saying that they would be closing one hour earlier come October. And a very large Arvest bank in OKC has closed it’s lobby now and you can only use drive-in banking now at that location. They still have lock boxes inside though. I think the price to heat and cool those buildings is causing them to make changes. These are the only two that I have noticed doing these things, but then again I don’t get out much to different businesses.

Utility company did a evaluation this morning for the house and office.
Tomorrow a independent contractor will do the same

@MarineBob I’m thinking businesses, especially corporations, have consulted with the utility companies as well. I can’t imagine heating a huge building with high ceilings for only a few customers at a time. Arvest bank has branches all over and most are very small in comparison. I went to one yesterday to make a deposit for that same car lot and that branch was about the size of a fast food restaurant, and low ceilings, of course. I wouldn’t be surprised if Arvest tries to sell that building if they can find a sucker with $ and then build or buy a small building in the same area.
