Similar situation here in England: Inflation is around 10%. Diesel is generally up to £1.85 per litre, which equates to around £7.40, lets say $8 US per US gallon.
Domestic electricity prices is rising faster than inflation, IMHO because of the EcoNuts preventing the development of fracking and re-opening of coalmines.
I don't understand how those on low or fixed incomes manage.

@CharlesRomsey Seems like inflation on prices of most goods and foods is around 25% just for this year….and I see price increases every time I go grocery shopping. It doesn’t seem like it will ever end. People who are living on a fixed income are hurting.

@cherokeepatti 25% may be the case in the USA, fortunately we're not there yet. BUT, if the Gummint keeps on printing money that we can't afford, what should we expect?
