@Stereoguy I didn't have to write a check. When the buyer bought my house, and when I bought new house, it was done at same time in Lawyers office. All of the money was electronically transferred. My profit was transferred to my bank account. That was pretty cool.

Biggest checks I used to have to write was to the City when I paid all of the yearly property taxes on my former house.

@Stereoguy I hear you. Paying all of those taxes in the city was because of all of the rich people who moved on the street, and them having million dollar houses built. But, it worked out for the best for me because I got a lot of money for my property

@Stereoguy Seriously, I could have waited for a bidding war for my property. But, In less than 24 hours my Seller got me full asking price. I had an old, seriously in need of major repair, house. I sold just for the land not house. I was so happy to get the hell out of the city and to make such a major profit.
