Wearing a thong in public

This was me last year at Toronto Pride. There were a lot of people dressed up for Pride, so I thought it was okay to wear my assless tights to the street parade.

While walking around, I saw a woman in assless chaps. She was wearing a thong under her chaps and, and I was happy to see someone in similar clothing to mine. Even though she had company, I approached her and asked if I could get a photo with her because we had similar outfits. She gave me a smile and said "ass out". I gave my phone to one of her companions and we posed with our asses out. I was over the moon. We both had thongs on and the girl was smiling and enjoying this moment.

Has anyone worn just a thong in public? At a beach or at a rave?
