The pirate's eye patch? I would rather, and do go commando more than I wear those things.

@TexChik I’ve never heard a thong called a pirate eye patch before but that’s a great answer 🏴‍☠
I do love a woman that loves to go commando 😍

@LondonCowboy Try one on and you will see what I mean
LondonCowboy · 51-55, M
@TexChik I’m not brave enough to try a thong on haha 😂
TexChik · F
@LondonCowboy Afraid someone will "snap it" ?
LondonCowboy · 51-55, M
@TexChik Yes and my bottom isn’t that small and might snap it too 🍑😉

@LondonCowboy Are there really any Cowboys in London?
LondonCowboy · 51-55, M
@TexChik Well we have horses and cows in some parts of London so I guess there are some cowboys here too 🤠 🐴 🐄

@jackson55 Are you a pilot?
jackson55 · M
@TexChik Yes. But the airplane in the photo is not mine.
LondonCowboy · 51-55, M
@TexChik That’s a very beautiful cowgirl in that photo ❤🤠❤
TexChik · F
@jackson55 What do you fly?
TexChik · F
@LondonCowboy Just no thong! 😉
jackson55 · M
@TexChik I have a Cessna Cardnal.
LondonCowboy · 51-55, M
@TexChik That cowgirl is sexy enough …. She doesn’t need a thong 😉🤠❤

@jackson55 Isnt that an upgraded 172?
jackson55 · M
@jackson55 The airplane in the photo is a Stewart S51. It’s a kit plane about 80% the size of a P51. Belongs to a friend.
jackson55 · M
@TexChik Similar in size with retractable gear. No wing spars.

@jackson55 I learned on a Cessna (married) twin engine turbo prop. 421? its been awhile. We had that 15 years and he taught me how to fly it and to talk to ATC , make course corrections, land , take off...I got my instrument rating on it. Loved that plane, I could tell by the engine noise what was going on...then he sold it and bought a flying computer. TBM 960. Its a single engine turbo, its fast but still not P51 fast, pressurized cabin, 310 ceiling. It wont stall, turn too sharply or let you screw up, the computer will adjust. it will even land itself if there is and emergency. I sat in it while it did it. It was a little rough on the landing but did fine.

Then my husband found a 182 skylane in an estate sale, had it upgraded by cessna to the G1000 avionics package. Its not pressurized but has O2 on board. He had the big tires mounted so he could land and take off from just about anywhere when checking wells. It flys fine, I am spoiled to speed .

@TexChik The flying schools buy all of the new 172’s. About $500,000 now. I had 310 for several years. But too expensive to fly for fun. My 177 has a Garman avionics package.
The S51 in the photo has a 540 cubic inch Chevy engine. 700 hp. It’s capable of 300 knots.

@jackson55 Awesome! The TBM has a Pratt and Whitney and 850 shaft HP, top speed is 340 KTS. I have 4500 hours on that plane now. Mastering the Garmin 3000 on it took a minute and a lot of sim time on the computer and at the simulator place. I do most of the flying to and from the farm, and from the farm to Amarillo or Lubbock on shopping runs. Crabbing into a windy dusty Texas runway used to scare the crap out of me, now its just what it is.

@TexChik Our little airport is called crosswinds for a reason. Something you have to deal with. Yes, the video game takes some getting used to. I live in a airpark with a few retired airline pilots. They have made comments about the avionics in the newer airplanes.

@jackson55 I became a pilot during the 2020 shutdown. I never learned to fly by the seat of my pants. But I can fly the shit out of our computer. The prop even changes pitch to give reverse thrust when landing. I put in my flight plan, and once it's approved, if I get anywhere near that plane with my iPad, it will upload it. I see the airport on my screen, and which strip is best with the prevailing winds. We flew to Florida and then to Nassau at night. That was cool. My husband never said a word, I flew the plane and talked to ATC. The only light was my instruments for a good ways, it was only 90 miles but it was different over water. The plane has really good radar. Tracks storms and lightning
