Why do most boys like tights so much??

Like, I don't mind, I'm cool with getting more attention if I'm wearing a cute fit with tights as long as no one is being creepy, but guys why?? My bfs all liked them too and sometimes I don't think they would have noticed me otherwise. Like wtf.. Cheat code?

I recognize that on a cool day, a girl will be warmer in tights than without, but I’m more likely to take a second look at a girl in stockings or bare legs than tights.
