Being able to sew comes in quite handy...

For more than the last year my Wife has decided not to wear panties to bed.. I think I hit the jackpot.. This decision of hers holds even if she wears say a waist length bed jacket her choosing to be naked from the waist down.. full on commando... She is fully in charge of what she wears or not... however there are times when someone else is around us and if she has to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom well her being naked from the waist down might not work out that well...

I came across this picture showing panties with snap fasteners that open readily to provide full unrestricted access... they are there until to snap fasteners are popped open and then they are for all practical intent instantly gone so she has modesty when she wishes and no obstructions when she wishes...


The good news is I know how to sew... I had to make a change to the foot on the sewing machine to allow sewing the snap fastener tape.. but with this change.. its a simple matter of converting a regular pair of panties to this style that pop open at the gusset to allow unrestricted access for intimate activities.. So I ordered some new panties and converted them this way for her.. Of course when she wears a longer nightie .. there is no issue.. and they can of course be worn as regular underwear..
