You don't want your skirt to get in the way, to infringe on the freedom of movement a skirt gives, so when selecting a skirt I think very carefully about what I will be doing. If I can get away with a skirt that barely covers the essentials I usually do. Sometimes I have to allow for a bit of bending over, but not always!
