what does it mean when you see a lot of people wearing leather jackets

i saw a few men and women today at the supermarket wearing leather jackets, and it annoyed me because i interpreted that they are trying to assert dominance over me? how can i not see it that way? so i don't feel so annoyed with local people?

I suspect it is that its cold out and a leather jacket is lighter than a winter one.
Has nothing to do with you or dominance.
How can you not see it that way? Realize that others actions have little to nothing to do with you. Leather isn’t about dominance. Its about style.

@Jungleman You’re welcome. A friend used to always remind me that people are too self involved to even notice you most of the time. They are too worried about how others see them. It helps calm some of the worry and paranoia. A little.
