Functioning

Having to function in this world by myself with Autism is hard harder than the average person there's certain social cues I don't get but I am good at masking blending in like smooth chocolate but it's draining.
I've met so many horrible people in this world no one treats you better because your autistic if anything they will treat you like your dumb. I'm 21 but I'm already done with friendship I've had so many friends use me for my money friends that stole from me it's the same people with different faces I tend to attract users as my kindness and naivety fills a hole in those who seek it.

My one and only friend L is first friend I've ever had that hasn't used me and taught me about give and take and you know what I like it馃憤 I'm okay with not having anymore friends I'm okay with others judging me I'm okay with not going out and seeing the world I mean what does it matter anyways why spend money be in crouded places just to see something I can get a 360 view on YouTube for.
Being a woman is hard your targeted alot and put down by other women I don't care about brands designers or even looking my best other girls are obsessed with social media validation praise everybody wants to be that "b!tech" and I just want to be me was born in the wrong era probably...

馃嵒 we will overthrow the neurotypicals comrade and establish a new autistic nation called Autistan 馃崁
i can relate to a lot you've said & i'm not even sure i'm autistic, though i've suspected i might be on the spectrum. the competitive social game is a lose-lose with sensitive people.

Why do you think being born in another era would have been better? If anything, previous eras people were more discriminating and less understanding of those who didn't "fit in"...

@BlueVeins We hope so, yes, society has definitely turned more progressive, tolerant and accepting in the last 10 years or so... but we know not everyone is happy with it and a lot of people would rather go back 50 years or more (you know, back when America was "great", lol)

@gfantasy that's very well true but even today as society we haven't come that far all the isms still exists and France finally has changed the law to make rape a crime child marriage still goes slavery still goes on these things seem to have went on since the beginning we're not getting any closer to abolishing these atrocities either. However life was also a bit more simpler back in the day where one didn't have to rat race just to put food on the table and pay for WiFi seems like a trade to me.
