I Am a Thinker

Sometimes I like to feed the pigeons in the mornings. Sometimes the stray dogs in my neighbourhood...
n sometimes I wonder, how animalistic they are. Their wants, needs and desires are all so raw. Animals can not think much, they are not intelligent.. even though we many times falsely like to think so: 'that what they must be thinking' n al.. e.g. when we see all the videos of animals online, or anything of that nature...
But we all know the truth is that animals can't even get bored.. because they can't think that much...
A cow sitting all day, chewing, does not get bored..

And looking at this, and reflecting back upon myself and others.. how they get bored, how they get so excited: puts a whole different perspective to it all.

Is it a boon or a curse, for humans to be so intelligent ? on one hand animals don't have much intelligent, certainly nothing compared to humans.. but on the other hand, they are always present in the now, just present and living.. which is quite an impossible task for us humans! n They've got it!

For when you, go into the woods or beach or mountain area.. where there is all nature around... you feel refreshed, rejuvenated... not just because you are breathing a healthier air there but also because in those moments, you forget about all your worries for sometime. And that itself, forgetting all about your life n its worries n tension and the work you have to do n what not, that itself makes you so happy...

You go into nature with a sad heart, maybe somebody said to you a lot of sour words.. but there you would find it almost ok with perspective to what you are seeing right now.

Nature and animals/birds: these two perspectives show us quite in depth the level of presence of living, and level of detachment to one's past: that a human should have..

even if, just for a few moment... we all see the light...
the light side of being human...

Animals aren't as intelligent as humans but they're ability to sense emotions or feel emotions is very high.

animals can feel/sense very very few emotions compared to the large variety of emotions humans can feel ^.^

I'm not disagreeing with your comparison, but you'd be surprised. Animals can feel and sense a lot. My mom's dog always knows when I'm sad even if I don't show it, and will come lay by me and stay by my side. My dog knows when I'm sick and will leave me alone, not bark, and will cuddle with me so I can rest. When animals are tortured on food processing farms, or their feathers are being ripped from their skin to make pillows, they can most definitely feel pain and experience emotions. They just view things in a much more simple way and appreciate the "little things". We could learn a lot from animals.

I know all that about dogs, n even trees can feel emotions... it's been scientifically tested. we can learn from animals :P
