@thepeculiarpanda I think it's just that most crime series aired on TV come from UK so I automatically put a quirky older lady into that category as well. Like Poirot, Miss Marple, Father Brown, Endeavour...

@thepeculiarpanda My mom have watched all of those ever since I remember, Poirot to the point we all knew it almost by heart already as kids 😆 and it never ceases to fascinate me how she always comes with some new series to watch. In recent years she watched mostly new French and German series.
