What are good degrees? For a job

Outside of those, business degrees are useful.

Liberal arts degrees don't train you for much, but they do teach you to think critically, and write persuasively. Or they should...

@QuixoticSoul Yeah, but also the job itself will take its toll, most likely. At least over here, good luck finding a place where they aren't understaffed and won't assume that you, in quality of the last guy being hired, are looking forward to do in a bunch of months what they dreamed of doing but never found the resources/time to implement in the previous 25 years.
MBA or MS. Best would be a PhD in almost anything.
