I Think Too Much

Sometimes if I sit really still, I swear I can feel Earth spinning.
If I look really carefully, I swear I can see the curve of the sky.

I don’t know if I really can, but wouldn’t it be cool if I could?

Maybe I’m the only one that can feel the planet move. After all, it is going really fast. Like, really fast.
I’ve always thought that was weird.

Like, if I leave a cup on top of my car, it falls off when I’m going slow (5-10 MPH), but the planet is spinning SO FAST and everything stays in place.

Maybe I can make a metaphor out of that sometime. Note to self

It really is incredible. I like how you give the example of a cup on your car, and the speed of the earth spinning, and we stay in place. I’ve never thought about it like this before. If I spin around, I get dizzy, but spinning on the earth, and I don’t feel a thing. Amazing!
