I talk to myself all the time. More often then not it is just to help me focus on a task or remember what I need to say when I get into a conversation with someone.

Oh good I'm not the only one, the only bad thing is sometimes I have a full on conversation while I do this.

@SDFORME Yeah! How does the word we want get lost between brain and mouth, and where do we pick up a totally unrelated word?

@Serenitree I have no idea. I once said dolphin instead of work. My brother got very confused very fast.

I talk to myself too, but I simply call it vocalizing my thoughts, or to put it simply, thinking out loud.

@Serenitree ah yeah, I know people who do it for that reason..I just do it cus I need the rehearsal when speaking with others.

@Ladyryan me myself and I it usually is daily small talk or talk about work so I recite in my head what I think the conversation will be while saying my lined aloud..so anyone listening with only hear a portion of what ever the topic may be
