It's the final wipe down!

My family has been gone since the beginning of August across the Country see my husbands dad who's prognosis wasn't good. So my husband and all of our kids drove down to see him if not for the last time. I didn't go because I can't take the road trip. It's too much for me. And I just didn't feel up to it! Yet it gave me all the time in the world to thoroughly deep clean the house!! I did ALL of the laundry! Everybody's laundry piles 2 adult boys and my myself, and every ones bedding, and extra's like sleeping bags and the cat's beds like everything it took me like 3 weeks to get all of the laundry wash dried folded and put away!!! I stayed on top of things like the garbage, dishes, and food spoiling in the fridge. cleaning the bathroom toilet sink and bathtub upstairs. The kitty litter and so on... Today I've been washing walls, doors, I will sweep and mop the floors Counter tops, table tops etc... Everything will be washed dried clean disinfected vacuumed fluffed and puffed and perfect when my family arrive home tomorrow!!! Then maybe we'll find the time to paint the kitchen like we've been wanting too for the past 3 years!!

So your husband's dad may be dying .. and you stayed home to do laundry and clean instead of going to support your family? Are there some issues between you and your Father-in-law?

@BrandNewMan Yes, I have schizoaffective disorder, and am ashamed of it in front of my husbands family...I love his dad, but I fear I would embarrass myself like I did last time...I feel I would dissapoint them and that they would tell my husband that I'm holding him back. If you must know the truth, that and I really cannot handle the 3 day minimum car ride! And I also have a pace maker and rest often in the afternoons while everyone else is busy busy busy!
@saintsong I see .. understandable in that light, seemed a bit odd not knowing it
