You shouldn’t feel ashamed for having a disability , neither should your husband, what’s shameful is your husband won’t support you enough to not make you feel ashamed

You are an awesome lady, taking care of the household work, deep cleaning the entire house! I'm sure your family will be appreciative of your hard work! You've used your time wisely, also allowing them to spend , possibly the last time , with hubby's father and the children's grandfather. Able to work at your own pace and rest as needed. I'm sure you'll be grateful for their safe return. Blessings in the future as your family navigates the next issues that come up...

So your husband's dad may be dying .. and you stayed home to do laundry and clean instead of going to support your family? Are there some issues between you and your Father-in-law?

@BrandNewMan Yes, I have schizoaffective disorder, and am ashamed of it in front of my husbands family...I love his dad, but I fear I would embarrass myself like I did last time...I feel I would dissapoint them and that they would tell my husband that I'm holding him back. If you must know the truth, that and I really cannot handle the 3 day minimum car ride! And I also have a pace maker and rest often in the afternoons while everyone else is busy busy busy!
