It seems that the best time of the year (now) is also the saddest

I love sadness in an aesthetic fashion, you know how it helps you connect with the forgotten past, it has a comforting aspect too, well for me it's a bit wider in scope, i fall into these mental rabbit holes where in a connect the dots way i end up in a very bleak mindset.

And the way things are matches that bleakness.

We do what we can in the midst of it, and i applaud you who still find something to enjoy and laugh about.

The essence of depression is losing all joy while perhaps retaining them in actuality, something is switched in your mind, to not care anymore, loss of interest, but most of all joy.

What was our joy based on before, did the foundations buckle and fall?

I "enjoy" thinking out loud such thoughts, but i'm struck dumb thinking of those really dealing with the ills of society.

Back to my horror movies till i figure out another useless thing to say.
