Next wrap up will be covering the time/days until the last one is before midnight on whichever day it could be
My first film of this day made me feel sleepy, and this is good for other reasons, sleeping or napping without pills is good for stretching the pills out and that i smoke less.
This is bad as a movieholic though .... maybe, instead of what i said here in the title i'll do a week wrap up from Sunday to Saturday.
Hmmmm possible, quite possible.
Before i nap i just gotta say a few things more.
Selling the collection is like fate imo, it was thee thing for over a decade, but now the new thing is streaming, costing under 200 a month
but let us back up a bit, what's the big deal one may ask?
Watching things is how my family spends their evening, that's us, my tastes differ, and the meat of the matter is that i use entertainment as an escape from the immediate environment.
I see in films particularly experiences that actually form a different sense than the physical, and can linger and be a part of you.
The collection was a physical embodiment of this extenuating endeavor, to transcend the immediate time and place.
The problem was introduced with something i was very excited about Blu-rays on a good big tv screen. The catch however was that it was in a non-private area.
Buying new tvs and stuff is not an option, never was a headphone of the tvs here either.
The answer was accepting streaming on the chromebook, the day The Criterion Channel worked for me after numerous attempts, it was a done deal.
And what if it's all taken away, a proponent for physical media might say, well i would go, i will have had my fun, time is short, and i shall read when it's taken away.
