I Spend a Lot of Time By Myself

I have been in the public eye all my working life. Dealing with people, working long hours, and... disliking my neighbors greatly. Time alone .. huh .. whatever.
Then I met a man who made all my dreams come true. I am in the mountains now on 120 acres of woods and a lovely creek that runs thru our land. We both are loners that love to meet up each and every day! ;-)
We get our chores done, he is an awesome partner that pulls his part around our home... too cool! Then we enjoy our alone time...him in his workshop, hunting, and me gardening and crafting.
Both of us need our time to ourselves.
Soooo.... I love to spend a lot of time by myself. I never had the chance to do so for any length of time. I do now!!! I have learned so much in the time I have spent alone .. quietly, thoughtfully, reflecting on my wonderful life I live now.
The best is yet to be!

Thank you PoetryNEmotion. I feel I have beat the odds in my life and with this good man. Our story hasn't always been hunky-dory but.. we have been together long enough to work out many differences .... lol... and our love grew stronger.

@PoetryNEmotion... We talked online and on the phone for 1 year and I met him face to face in 2013, I was 57 yrs old. Yes, I was single, had been for 3 yrs. I then lived with him for 3 yrs before I married him. We got married this August.
