have you ever been misperceived

[c=665D00]someone thought you was something that you're not? like having a false perception of you? i have experienced that once or twice and i really didn't like it..., i was quite angry at the time.

how should you respond to situations like that?[/c]

I tell them the truth but it seems any would rather believe the rumor. I know what I am and who I am and if they can't believe it from the person. Then there a piece of shit and I delete them out my life and there friends. My real friends know the truth🙂
@Lilnonames I admire how comfortable you are as you. Take it or leave it. I'm much the same.

I have been greatly misunderstood, but as I've gotten older, I've accepted that I really don't have much influence over how other people, especially those I don't know personally, see me. If someone isn't eager to delve deeper, I don't think it's worth my while to try to convince them otherwise.
@Camelia if they aren't willing to really get to know you, they aren't worth your effort or concern.

Boy oh boy have I…and sometimes I just can’t wrap my head around the nonsense they so called perceived…People’s imagination online can make one very confused and frustrated and leave one thinking “where did that come from”.

All I can say to those that misperceive me is, “Honey you let the devil fool you “!

Absolutely, haven't we all? Social media is the epitome of that thinking and of paranoia. Once upon a time I felt the need to defend, now, meh... too much effort. Do you believe we can actually change what someone has in their head about us??
