Happy New Year! On this New Year's Day 2024 there's indeed much to reflect upon.
How will the war in Ukraine ever end without the fall of Putin? How will the war in Gaza end without a true solution for the aspiration of Palestinian Arab nationhood?
One can indeed be cruel and claim that the first will survive even the Ukraine's willingness to fight, and for the second that Greater Israel will indeed come about and there'll never be peace there again. So far the politicking.
Personally, I still drift afload in the world of my own dyslextic imagination. Yes, perhaps I'm indeed more intelligent than I appear or sound, but I'll never let that handicap limit myself for anything either. Let us remember Glenda Jackson acting the part of Elizabeth I : "I may not be a lion but I am a lion's cub and have a lion's heart".
