i take offence easy at people, what's the answer

[c=005E2F][i]not too far back i stormed off out of a social meeting because i took offence at what someone said, i am very sensitive and take things personal, this person kept using a specific word in our conversation that made me uptight, i told them not to use that word because i explained ' it doesn't accurately sum up the situation'- but they kept using the word and i apparently looked at them like i wanted to kill them, then i stormed off.[/i][/c]
