Why are the people here so sensitive

Some people are quick to fly off the handle. That’s just how people are, and when you see them here it comes out

People seem to love being offended so they can get all shouty.

There are some real wackadoos here.

They are not sensitive. I think it could be other words. Outraged. Easily offended. Not liking honesty. Blunt. So many words. Mostly not good ones. Oh, keyboard "warriors" or outlaws.

We tend to express our opinions more freely on the INTERNET, and our emotions too.

In the real world we would be more reticent.

They are used to thinking in narrow lanes, and anything that falls out of that lane can disturb their stability.
That is of course just one example and I am being general drawing out from my own experience here with people. However, they could genuinely have a reason to be sensitive say if someone is nasty with them.

There is a popular saying round my way that goes "It's not what you do, it's the way that you do it". Or, if you like, "It's not what you say, it's the way that you say it". While most people do admire honesty, there are times when a little diplomacy wouldn't go amiss.

Voicing your opinion sounds like politics.

I think everyone should respect the topic of the post and only say things with kind intentions.

Of course that's still no guarantee to be appreciated but the odds are higher if we are, you know, nice 😂

Did you say something harsh? I do find some people very sensitive sometimes, like they only want people to be positive. I much prefer people to be honest if they comment on my posts.

Some people here have claimed the title of snowflakes. Unfortunately. I reply with honesty.

There is freedom of opinion but not freedom not to be mocked for any particular opinion.
