Very Sensitive Person
I have this situation over my mum. Well, more her and my relationship. I have a big sister and I have always felt that she has been the 'golden child', as such, in the family. Fine. Whatever.
But I always tried to make her love me, or show me the same affection that she showed my sister, with little success.
It made things tough. I always felt that she tried to make me just through bigger hoops.
When we had our big fall-out it really, really upset me. I'm sure it upset her too. But, for me, I felt crushed.
This last year has been one of her undergoing counselling for her issues and of starting to build bridges between us. It's been hard. I hope we get there.
