I Am a Sensitive Person

I always put up a tough front but that's exactly what it is, a front. If someone says or does something to get at me I'll act like it means less than nothing to me but when nobody is looking I'm crying in my room. I wish I could be stronger and truly be the face that I wear in public.

StrangeWorld - the poster is either genuine or a fake. Either way, why do you care? Frankly, I'd be surprised if anyone put an actual picture of themselves on this site. But the point is, if the poster is a fake, then so what? If you you reveal a "fake" post or account, then what do you gain? That you're smarter than the rest of us who react as if the post is genuine? That you revealed someone is not being truthful on the Internet? That never happens, right?

So you're smarter than the rest of us. Congratulations, you win.

But the poster could be genuine. If so, then what do you gain from trampling another person's feelings?

My point is, responses to postings should be made in the spirit in which the poster intended. If you don't believe the poster, then ignore the post. If you believe the poster, or at least have no reason or evidence to contradict the poster, then either participate constructively or ignore the post.

Anonymously mocking people is pointless. It's an exercise in mental masturbation.
