I Admire Discipline

The avatar suggests oriental focus, diligent effort, working toward self-mastery and self-control as exemplified in chan (zen) and kung fu.
But so many of the stories in the group are about something else entirely.

They are, and mainly from people who do not know the difference between punishment and discipline, and assume the latter has always to be physical.

Perhaps a better group for what you describe would be "I Admire Self-Discipline".
