Almost always

I don't know if this is true for others or not but I don't remember the last time I shared how I truly felt with anyone. Everytime somebody asks me how i am i just respond im okay to stop the conversation. I have friends, I have a girlfriend but even when they ask, I reply I'm okay, when inside I'm battling so much. I did try sharing a few times. But Everytime They misunderstood and gave judgemental opinions. So I've just stopped now. I have recently downloaded a couple of apps to help me get better. It's strange that I am comfortable sharing how I feel with an app rather than a closed one. Maybe because the app doesn't judge. Maybe because the app doesn't change its behaviour after I share my struggles. Maybe because I've lost faith in all people and talking to a non-human doesn't seem so weird now. I still wish I could share what I feel with someone.

Many people say “How are you” as a kind of extension of hello, without actually wanting an answer, let alone an honest one. Like saying “How do you do “ which probably began as a real question long long ago.

@SW-User Right. And that just shows how indifferent we have become towards each other. It's ironic that our species survived evolution by sticking together and collaborating but as we progress we're now moving in the opposite direction and isolating ourselves more and more.
