@rckt148 I have 3 disc pushing inward against my spinal cord, arthritis and bone spurs from one shoulder to the other, last 3 vertebrae completely encapsulated in arthritis, broken tailbone, nerve damage from the waist down and pars interarticularis which is a broken back that never heals. Yay me... Lol.
@MyPathOfTotality I feel ya Brother Part of my spine was removed in 1990 just so I could walk again ,I was crippled for a year until a surgeon agreed to operate my spinal cord is flattened in 2 places ,spurs all over it 200 sensory nerves encroached in scar tissue from my surgery arthritis always is part of it ,or with most people I know ,,RA is the least of my worries ,and autoimmune disease keeps eating away at my spine DJD eats the discs ,so I am blessed I can still walk BUT now I have current MRI's that finally prove I am not just a drug addict trying to get pain pills ,I am in pain SO at least I have a good doctor willing to try and manage that after 20 yrs of trying to prove I am not a high risk ,I am not an addict They say a vaccine triggered it ,,but the VA don't want to admit to that
@rckt148 I don't take anything for pain. I've tried so many different pain medications that I now have a non-alcoholic fatty liver. Doctors tell me is too risky for them to operate on my back because of the invasive arthritis. Plus they guarantee that I'll be in a wheelchair a few years after the operation. My current condition could lead up to paralyzation at some point. They told me that it could be a gradual decline, sudden or not at all. I have noticed a decrease in mobility in my legs this year. They're not steady and I have to take notice where I'm walking. I stumble easy over my own feet. My problem is that I can't afford go to the doctor because I have crappy supplemental insurance. I'm hoping that I can get on disability soon.
@MyPathOfTotality I have been on meds ,have them taken away and that is why no one will operate on me anymore ,my scars turn into Keloid's They keep growing and they have veins in them so they can't be removed without causing new ones ,the one from my surgery has grown around and crushing 200 nerves ,my legs are never out of pain Where they took part of my spine out ,my body just filled the voids with spurs ,they say one is huge and looks like a sand spur the 12 discs are so destroyed they wont hold any dye I was a little over 6 foot ,now I am 5'9 I also have a bad heart and a collapsed lung and the fatty liver too but they said I would be in a chair no later then 45 .I am almost 61 they said I would never do construction again ,I built housed for 10 more years (but I couldn't just stand in one place and preform ,a 16 lb guitar would take me to my knees after about an hour ,so they was right that my rock star days was over ,but I have defied all the boundaries they set I am actually rebuilding a house now ,,but I couldn't with out pain pills I take oxycodone plain ,so it does not further damage my liver They once had me on more meds then a cancer patient I am the one that cut it back to only 30 mg a day I was on 30 mg of oxycontin 4 times a day ,morphine and methadone I am the one that wanted it cut back ,I hope to be around to see my 11 yr old son graduate ,at the rate I was going ,I wouldn't have been My disease is aggressive ,but doctors already said I was done one time I say I am not done until my maker says I am but I am also in a lot of pain ,even with the meds
