I Am Not Who They Think I Am

Some say I'm a kind-hearted soul, others say I'm an actress... In reality, I feel hollow. Those lifeless eyes, void of the emotions people say I have, they are nowhere to be found when it is just me, myself, and I. I stare in the mirror and see a face, one that tries hard to be accepted. I've done that, haven't I? After all, no one suspects that I could be another lost soul, hiding under a mask of bubbly replies and cheerful smiles.
